Lory Manrique-Hyland
Lory teaches fiction writing and is a regular contributor with feature articles on pregnancy and parenting for a national Irish newspaper. She blogs at The Mom Blogs, and is a regularly featured blogger on mamapedia.com. Lory has worked in publishing in New York, designed corporate training programs, and taught English and Creative Writing to children and adults around the world. Her first novel, Revolutions, was published by The Lilliput Press in 2004. She's won awards and grants and has appeared in national press, television and radio. She's currently working on her second novel.
Lory has a BFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU, and an MA in Creative Writing from the City College of New York. She's also a Certified Adult Educator, with a Certificate in Training and Development.
